Budget Gaming PC

I would like to share a build I am planning to get very soon
and you might wanna make it as a reference on your
upcoming purchase. Got these prices from newegg so
if you'll ask how much it would be on your country,
it would costs somewhere near these prices.


Cooler Master Elite 110 = $39
* One of the most cheapest ITX casing out there. Unlike Lian-Li's
and Silverstone's, you could fit a standard sized PSU in it.

Corsair CX 430 430W = $39
*430w of power is more than enough for this entire build

Biostar Hi-Fi B85N 3D = $69
*Cheap and has mosy of the features those famous brands currently has.
For this small platform, it has a good built-in audio.

Intel Pentium G3258 3.2 Ghz LGA 1150 = $69
*At $70 you get a special edition CPU from Intel. An unlocked
CPU that overclocks well with the Biostar Hi-Fi B85N 3D.

G.Skill Ripjaws X 4GB X 2 DDR3 1600mhz = $79
*G.sKill sports a cheap and a kickass design on their
rams. 8Gb with a 1600mhz speed is good enough to play current released games.

Zotac GTX 750Ti 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 = $139
*Sports the new Maxwell architecture. A card so powerful to handle
games like Battlefield 4, Titanfall, COD Ghosts etc. that peaks at
insanely low 75 watts.

Western Digital WD Blue 1TB SATA = $59
1Tb is I think a pretty good enough capacity for this build.

Total = $493
(monitor excluded)

A budget gaming PC that can handle latest games @ full HD.
It has a small foot print that you could put it almost anywhere
on your table.

What sort of games are you playing??

I would probably get a Core i3 and the fastest card you can. An R7 265 should be fine in that case as long as the card is not too long.

Plus don't worry so much about heat and power consumption of the cards. My Xeon E3 1220 and a pre-overclocked GTX660 was lucky to see 200W at the wall when gaming.

Actually the G3258 is better than the i3 (proof here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evXpqpNhu_Y) I agree with the gpu an R7 265 would be better but he can have a preference for nVidia.
If that is the case go with the 2gb ddr5 model.

Forgot to tell the Biostar Hi-Fi B85N 3D isn't z97 so it won't overclock the G3258 go with the asrock z97 anniversary

The G3258 isn't always though.Look at the TH review especially with regards to latency.

Many of the newer games just run smoother with 4 reasonably fast threads(BF4 MP for example will run better on the Core i3 in 64 player MP action),and some like Watch Dogs and Thief show large latency issues with a Pentium dual core.

Plus get a cheap GTX660 if you have a preference for Nvidia. It takes a massively overclocked GTX750TI to match it in many cases.

i3 would be better here, and like has been said above, a 660 would be better.

Cooler Master 120 isn't a bad case, but it does get rather loud for my liking.

Am now edging towards the SG05 for my next build, you can see the two compared here:

A smaller case, yet the fans run slower and the system runs cooler and quieter (specially with the 560ti).

For that price, Biostar is the only one that offers 3 year warranty. How could i resist that?

But if you want to use the full potential of the G3258 you need a z97 or 87 mobo. B85 will only work with the asus mobos with updated bios

SG05 is a nice looking compact case, problem is it can't support a standard size PSU. SFF PSU's are not that affordable.

forget the warranty.. get a better motherboard.. you'll get 1 year with all of them and it's worthy

Not really going to overclock that cpu, might give it a try, but no it was not intended for that.

I would also recommend you go for the 2GB 750ti. I've got the Asus OC'd version and not only does it have 2GB, but it performs slightly better than other models, at least according to gpuboss.

It also consumes an ~60W and is extremely quiet. I've never heard the fans to be honest, all I hear are my case fans!
