Mini ITX sys for photo processing and some slideshow creation

I have put the following list together of parts and any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

    Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core
    Asus Z97I-PLUS Mini ITX
    Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
    Crucial M550 512GB M.2 SSD
    Crucial MX100 512GB 2.5" SSD
Palit GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB KalmX
Silverstone FT03B-MINI (Black) Mini ITX Tower
    Silverstone 450W SFX12V

I won't be doing any overclocking thus not having a K processor. I need fast data transfers thus the two SSDs (plus the MB has the M2 slot and it really would be a sin to not use it )

    any other thoughts are appreciated

What OS are you using?? What type of photo processing are you doing?? What software is being used??

    I would get a Xeon E3 1230 V3:

Its a slightly downclocked Core i7 4770. I would get this motherboard:

My mate did a build with the same parts recently.

Regarding the graphics card, remember a passive card might end up making your system fans spin up quicker as it needs to remove the heat anyway.

However,I would be more inclined to get a R7 260X or R7 265 as they have better OpenCL performance:

Re: Mini ITX sys for photo processing and some slideshow creation

I'm running Adobe CC so Photoshop and Lightroom CC editions. I'll also be using After Effects for creating the slide shows.

I wanted that MB because it's one of very few on the market that have the M2 slot so that I could have an M2 SSD. I don't mind paying the extra little bit for the i7.

Also in relation to the heat from the GPU - the case has the 90 degree rotated construction so therefore heat rises and shouldn't be an issue in the case
