Is it worth it - £590 gaming + full hd projector

    Hello,
So I can complete build like this, for less than £590.
Hitachi drives because I will relay only on them because they have lowest failure rate and as everyone I do not want to loose my important data
I want to play hight/ultra settings graphics on my tv (resolution 1300x766)
but in next year (or cyber Monday ) get full hd projector.

Also probably next year upgrade RAM for another 8gb
I was also thinking about gtx 980 /980ti but I it might be overkill for this system especially there is no much difference in price/perfomence.
In therms of CPU I know it is quite old but I did get it cheap (for below £100 ) from office envioremnt so I can be sure it was never overclocked.

    **CPU** | [Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor]
**CPU Cooler** | [Arctic Cooling ACFZ13 36.4 CFM CPU Cooler]
**Thermal Compound** | [Zalman ZM-STG2 3.5g Thermal Paste]
    **Motherboard** | [ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard]
    **Memory** | [Kingston HyperX Fury Blue 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory]
**Storage** | [Hitachi Travelstar 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive]
**Storage** | [Hitachi Travelstar 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive]
**Video Card** | [EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card]
**Case** | [Thermaltake Versa H23 ATX Mid Tower Case]
**Power Supply** | [XFX TS 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply]
    **Optical Drive** | [Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer]
**Case Fan** | [Arctic Cooling AFACO-12P00-GBA01 54.0 CFM 120mm Fan]

    According to market prices:

If you don't want to lose your data then don't rely on a hard drive not to fail. Whichever brand you buy it'll happen sooner or later. Backing up is the only way to keep data safe that will work long term.

Given that it's much easier to overclock K suffix processors I'd imagine the percentage of 3470s that have been overclocked is vanishingly low.

    The 3470 isn't a £150 processor. You can get the 4460 for £135:

That's also not a £55 motherboard. With only two memory slots and no PCI-E support the equivalent new would cost you about £40. So you can knock £30 of your market prices estimate.

Why the two drives? Wouldn't a single 2TB be cheaper? Or is one to go in an external caddy for backup?

I wouldn't even consider a GTX 980(ti). An R9 390 or GTX 970 would be the highest I'd go for at such a modest resolution.

Scan have the XFX TS 430W for £30:

The only price I found on amazon was £155.
I paid less than £100 as I mentioned in first post.
So I have CPU 1155, so which other motherboard you suggesting?
