Riiiggghhtttt... Where exactly did you get "slated"? I see some clear cut responses from Agent. He even apologized while explaining his actions.

Personally i can't see how your view of scan could be harmed when no one from scan has even replied to the issue yet. Just all seems very rash and very uninformed. It wouldn't be the first time a module has failed after extensive testing, it has happened to me before. Not to mention the millions of other variables of transit and the like. Finally the sending of all three modules back would be common practice no matter where you shop as has already been explained.

woah woah.. didnt mean for it to become a slagging match lol..

Please rest assured I only signed up once and the ip's etc will prove this.

I think my best option is simply get a refund for this faulty ram from scan and buy another 6GB pack from another retailer which will allow me to not be without a PC whilst do the RAM. Simple solution to a simple problem scan should have suggested this originally really.

You clearly miss the point. I doubt ANY retailed would let you buy a 6Gb pack of RAM then return ONE faulty 2Gb stick..it just doesn't make sense.

And you think that the system magically put itself together?

The RAM more than likely would have come in a single pack, therefore have a single serial number, NO retailer would take 1 x 2Gb stick of RAM back out of a 6Gb pack.

I can only assume we're all on Virgin media cos i'm in a completely different country to the others.
Well a fast refund still puts scan ahead of overclockers, their RMA was an abomination.

If you are in a different country then you can't be on Virgin, im pretty sure they only provide Internet to the UK..

Contrary to what some English might think, Scotland IS in fact a different country.

You see, I dont see Scotland as being a different country, but thats just me.

Maybe making yourself that little bit clearer might help

Re: Tested Bundle - Faulty Ram

You might see England as the dirty bit at the bottom of Scotland, but personally I think that's a little harsh.
