New PC starting to crash with a blue screen..

It's happened 3 times today so far, once while just on the desktop and a couple of times while playing a game. When I restart the comp this message popped up :

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

Can I do anything to fix this myself or do I have to send it in for repair?

    Thanks.

    Geo26,

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are having, please download a program called memtest from www.memtest.org, this program is a free download and will help determine if your memory is faulty.

Can you also provide us with your invoice number?

    Kind regards,

Re: New PC starting to crash with a blue screen..

Thanks for the reply. My invoice number is *******. I wrote down the STOP code as it happened again last night :

    STOP: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA80167E8028, 0x00000000F6004C80, 0x0000000000040150)

I'll download that program you linked and post again when i've used it.

Re: New PC starting to crash with a blue screen..

Thankfully the problem has been fixed now. All it took was a quick call to Scan and they told me to adjust the voltage in the BIOS slightly and it seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you for the great customer service as usual!
