Over the last 24 hours, my PC has been powering itself off at irregular intervals, probably 7 or 8 times, it had never happened before last night..
It cuts display to the screen, and all peripherals power off. The lights inside the base unit remain on and the fans keep going for approximately 15 seconds after each incident, at which point it turns off entirely. I can then turn it straight back on, and it'll load normally.
All fans are unobstructed, there's no noticeable amount of dust in the machine, and the temps seem fine (CPU is usually around mid 30s, up to 45-50 when under heavy load, GPU around 60 when idle, up to 70-75 when under heavy load), so it doesn't seem to be an overheating problem.
I can't see any common cause, on a couple of occasions it has shut down on the Windows splash screen, but more often it'll load to windows ok (the uptime was around 2 hours on the most recent occasion). It doesn't happen only when the machine is being used for anything strenuous, and I've not installed any new software in the last day.
Update at 8:00 this morning:
I'm not sure it's just a power issue. After a period of stability for around 3 hours yesterday evening, I left the machine on overnight. When I came back to it this morning it was still powered on, but again there was no power to the peripherals and the screen was blank.
