    Replacement Kuhler 620: Missing/Wrong Pieces?

    Hello all,
at the end of last month I had a Kuhler 620 that blew out.
Scan customer service was great with sending me a replacement. I had holidays booked, so I opted to install it when I returned.

Fast forward to a few days ago: I unpacked the contents of the shipment to start the installation, but found there were pieces missing from the instruction manual (online one, as well as the one that shipped with my original Scan build).
I also found what I think are extra pieces, that I don't see on the manual.

I have attached a high-res picture of the parts received, as well as added the page of the manual that lists the pieces required for installation.
It's high-res so you can zoom into and see the individual pieces if need be.

Here is the link for the image: http://i.imgur.com/ADtsA.jpg

From what I gather, I am missing pieces J, F, and H as listed on the manual (even though apparently I won't be needing J based on my processor). Compared to the other Kuhler 620 I have installed, piece F is supposed to be blue.

If you observe the photograph, I have highlighted in red some pieces that aren't listed and that seem extra. There are some that look like they could be J and F, but they are smaller in size than the ones compared in the already installed 620.

In yellow are some screws - the top ones are small and don't appear in the manual, the middle ones are the screws labeled as I, and below them are some washers.

I have never installed a Kuhler 620 before, so there is the possibility that I'm just not seeing the pieces the way that they should go. Can someone confirm that I am indeed missing pieces J, F and H? Or perhaps assist me in telling me how to make do with the pieces that I have but not listed on the manual?

Thank you very much for your time,

    Fred.

That manual picture you have seems to be an older one...I have intel/amd plastered on the front of my paper one with the differing instructions for each. Looks like you have the parts I did though so maybe a older manual I think before they changed to be 2011 compatible maybe?

I will try and explain the parts, as I don't have a scanner to use atm.

Yellow highlighted stuff : Short stubby screws are used to screw the rad on the back of your PC. The long ones are to attach the fan to the rad, if you want 2 fans either side of the rad you will need to find some more. Washers can be used if you feel the need.

Red parts are harder to explain, as they rely on what CPU you are fitting, the top right bits snap into each other but you need to sandwich them in-between the G part , the location of the screw hole should be on the inside for socket 1155/1156 and on the outside for 1366/2011. The other bits that are screws that should be used to push through these holes you created above. Top row are for everything apart from 2011 thats the bottom row.

tldr : You have a older manaul with newer kit. If you have a AMD or want a copy of my manual let me know here and maybe a pm and I'll try and scan one in.

Re: Replacement Kuhler 620: Missing/Wrong Pieces?

    Hello all!
I was able to install it successfully yesterday - I got ahold of the manual for the newer piece of kit via Antec customer support.
Weird how it's nit available online yet; if someone needs the PDF at some point let me know

The cooler+fan are running smoothly and quietly, then computer isn't overheating so that makes me a very happy renderer!

Again, thank you so much demonwar for your help, Ben thank you for the assistance you've helped with along the way; I'm very pleased with Scan and the after-sales support.
    This forum rocks!
