    Graphics Driver Crashes

    Hi guys

I'm having a bit of trouble with my machine - primarily graphics driver crashes. Sometimes I just get a message saying the driver has had to be restarted, other times I get a full crash and reboot.

It's been manageable, but seems to be getting worse - two full crashes over the last 24 hours now.

    Any thoughts?

Is your card seated correctly might be worth lifting it out and re seating the card, check the power chord to the graphics card if you have one.

    Re: Graphics Driver Crashes

What drivers are you on? Are the crashes happening during gameplay, web browsing, on the desktop? Also, what are your gpu temps when the crashes occur?

I'm assuming you are talking about Nvidia for your GTX 570.

Have you tried a clean installation of the latest 310.33 beta's? I've been using them fine for the last few days without any issues. That would be the first thing I'd try and if that didn't solve it start looking to see if there is something wrong with windows itself causing an issue.

If you do take your card out to reseat it as Geoff suggested it might also be worth blowing out the fans / heatsink with a can of compressed air to remove any dust buildup. Just make sure to keep the fans still whilst you do this. Something like a cotton earbud should be strong enough.

    Re: Graphics Driver Crashes

    Hi

We are sorry to hear of the issues, please roll back the drivers or uninstall and reinstall the earlier ones that the system was working with to determine if its a driver issue

The other advice to clean and reseat the card is also good advice

    Regards

    Ben
