3xs crashing technical help please

Hi Folks,

I recently-ish (April) purchased a new 3xs G30i from Scan

Which has been great in the main, however, when playing some games the system just crashes out - high pitched fan noise, then blank monitor screen, nothing appears to work. PC requires a hard re-boot to start up again.

Not being massively technical I checked the obvious - loose connections, clean installed graphic drivers, patches, software updates... but this problem has persisted. The computer runs fine for the majority of time - web browsing, mail, video steaming. It just seems to crash under load (playing Battlefield, WoW etc..)

I checked the specs and i'm now guessing this is a power supply problem?

The 3xs I bought comes with a

CORSAIR 550W VS

and I upgraded/configured at the time to include:-

2GB EVGA GTX770 SC +ACX Cooler
Intel Core i5 4670

looking at the graphics card specs EVGA/Nvidia recommended power supply of 600W

Could anyone help/offer some support? i'd really like to get this resolved as it's become extremely frustrating not being able to use my new system properly!

I'd be putting something to monitor temperatures. A decent 550W powersupply should be plenty capable of handling that system.

Hi I just wanted to provide feedback.

My issue was resolved promptly and effectively. Scan support have been OUTSTANDING. My system was picked up, tested, repaired and returned and now my 3XS is better than ever
