Hi,
I've received my new build PC. At the point of dispatch (quite literally) I was told by Adam that the front USB-C would not function as the motherboard has no front USB-C header. The two options presented was to pay for a motherboard upgrade and await a rebuild, or to go ahead with delivery and he would research an alternative solution.
We left the conversation agreeing the latter.
Can I check please where this solution is up to?
Given guarantees about system compatibility from the website (https://www.scan.co.uk/3xs/info/why-buy-built) - and I did choose parts solely from the system builder - I'm not expecting this to be at my expense.
I can't surely have been the only one to have picked this combination in the time between order and QC? It does feel as though this could have been addressed far sooner; between order on 15th September, build on 4th October (presumably the issue came to light then?), and QC 7th October - and didn't need a delivery deadline call at 5.50pm the night before!
Thanks in advance
