    Blackhawk Up

Hey guys, youll see an order coming through.... finally pulled the trigger

    I have a few questions\thoughts though.

    1. Can you set the BIOS up in such a way - if the startup defaults back to original settigns i can quickly flash it back to the overclocked state or something similar that gets the job done.

    2. Can you configure the monitor settings - i hear quite a few monitors (the 24" Dell as an example) need to be correctly configured to get the best out of them

    3. I have purchase a F1 and a X25, which drive do you put the operating system on, i hear that the performance of the solid state drive degrads with read/write's, and am worried as the operating system tends to do this an aweful lot that it maybe wiser to but this on the F1 - any thoughts?

    4. I understand that it takes 14 days for completion, if you manage to swing it closer (like this weekend) I'd be ever indebted....

    5. Can you make sure the office trial is not installed - I have office 2007 already

    6. I have opted to leave out a soundcard.... im not sure whether im going to use my existing one or my external one or whether to use the onboard audio (is it any good?)

    7. Big thanks. Can you see anything with my spec that u think may need tinkering ... concerns you. Ill be using this for gaming and everyday use....

    Re: Blackhawk Up

"Since your specing up the system here, I'd recommend you ask them to use this memory instead. It is basically the dominator stuff (8-8-8-24) in an xms3 heatsink and only costs like £3 more than the standard XMS3 (9-9-9-24) stuff:" Posted by Infinite.

Can I switch to this RAM - its £3 difference ......

I think you need to pay an extra £21 (at the current price) for the D0 Stepper.
