Where are those istanbuls then ?

Hello scan people,

I've been thinking of building a new system but what i want is not available as a 3xs system.

I want a dual socket opteron workstation with light gaming on the side. Im split with choosing either a couple of 2380 or 2378 or just 1 new 6 core istanbul.

Does anybody know if scan do any opteron system or can i just place my wish here?!

Hi Alex,

We're certainly able to build a AMD istanbul rig for you, but currently we don't have preconfigured systems set up as we've been busy working on a whole bunch of other projects since they launched. They are certainly very intresting chips through and we're looking to do something with them soon.

If you've been reading up and have an idea of what you'd like to go for already, then we have a range of parts supporting them in stock and we can custom build any system you'd like us too if you submit the specs to one our sales team.

Give our sales guys a call and they can talk through it with you when your ready to go ahead with it.
