too much, too little ?

Having a look at a new system, so far was thinking about: i7860, GTX 470, 4Gb RAM

two questions:

it only lists a 550W PSU as a option, is this powerful enough for the job?
I would probably pick a larger one if there was the choice.

the few systems i have been looking at, the overclock option is standard, but the jump on the output of the CPU seems like lot (eg 2.8Ghz - 4Ghz), i have heard that systems can become unstable, having no knowledge of BIOS's or internal techie stuff (hence the buying not the building), can overclocking become a problem?

What is the amperage provided on the 12V rail(s)? What make is it? Just going for a bigger W number might not actually do anything to help.

I'm guessing its the Corsair VX550.
