    Question warning sound on bootup

    Hi All,

I've just turned on my 3XS system and it immediately makes a warning sound (a bit like a fire engine but quieter!) and this continues. The system seems to be working fine apart from the sound. It's coming from the actual base unit not the speakers. Anyone heard of this before?

    Thanks in advance,
    Matt

    Re: warning sound on bootup

    Hi

I have just spoken to you with regards to the issue, the system has a water cooler and the bios has reset, as its the Abit IP35 Pro we have saved a Standard and an Overclocked Profile with the CPU fan disabled as this is what is causing the beeps

Restart the system - Tap Del to Enter the Bios
Press F7 on the Main Screen and Load either Profile
Press F10 to save and exit

If you are still having issues please let me know

    Regards

    Ben

    Thanks Ben,

The issue was the cooler pump was not working. I tried what you suggested and the beeping returned after a couple of minutes. I went into the BIOS uGuru screen and the CPU temperature was about 100. This was the problem. I've since replaced the cooler and it's all working.

    Matt
