Some Quick Questions

Hi,
I was looking at getting a custom system from 3XS, more specifically looking at the 3XS i7 2500K OC - Edge Edition - New May 2011 (http://3xs.scan.co.uk/ConfigureSystem.asp?SystemID=1267).

Except I will be upgrading the graphics card to the 1280Mb EVGA GTX 570 HD.

Here are my questions:

With that case, how many of the maximum number of fans will be installed to keep everything running cool? Would extras be needed or is it not necessary?

I noticed that free delivery is offered for being active in the forum. Does this pply to the 3XS systems? I won't be purchasing for a month or so, so during that time I could participate in the forums to get the free delivery without spamming.

I have a copy of Windows 7 myself which I will be using to install on the sytem. Would this cause any problems with regards to overclocking? Or do you install the OS to test the OC, then remove it before sending it to me?

Will this same system be available in the next month? If so how long roughly would it take from ordering it to having it delivered?

I wouldn't think extras would be necessary, especially since the CPU comes with a decent cooler (the Freezer 13 Pro)

The HAF 912 Plus comes with a large fan in the front and one in the rear, a reasonable stock cooling setup. You can see a picture of this at the page for the 912 Plus on the Coolermaster website, if you do a quick Google you'll easily find it.

From what I've heard and read about the free delivery, it should apply to any order over £20 so should apply to 3XS systems.

I don't think they would offer an overclock on a system being purchased with no o/s installed.

The Free delivery doesnt apply to 3XS systems at the moment

If you have your own OS we will Overclock and test the system and if you send your own genuine copy of Windows 7 in with a key we will install and test the system with this for you

Alternatively we will install our own OS and you can resoftware the system once you get it, the overclock is contained in the bios and is not affected by different windows installs though there are a few tweaks that need to be made but we can advise you of these if you decide to install the OS yourself
