Looking for a new build

Hi guys,

I am looking for a new build after about 4 years. Scan has been recommended by a couple of my friends and hence I contacted them. Although the sales staff was very friendly in terms of understanding what i wanted and very knowledgable, I was a little disappointed with one thing and not many ppl with agree with me but here goes :-

Why doesn't scan offer to build the system @customer's residence. The excitement of having the parts delivered to you and building the Pc can't be replicated. That's the only thing stopping me from having the Parts ordered till now !

Unfortunately this is not an option as it would mean sending an engineer to someones house with all the parts to build, Install OS and all drivers,test the memory for 24 hours, test the stability for 24 hours etc ...

We cant build systems at peoples houses, custom builds take a lot of time and stress testing , especially if the system is overclocked, this would also leave us a member of staff down for each build and there would be less staff to work in our build department
