Just wanted to see what people think of the following (mostly to see if I've put something together that will actually work or not )
CASE: CoolerMaster Storm Sniper Gaming Case with high air flow + Maximum Case Cooling Fans for your selected case + Anti-Vibration Fan Mounts
CPU: Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition Six Core 3.46GHz, 6.4GTs/12 MB cache, LGA1366 (No Overclocking) + PROLIMATCH MEGAHALEMS Rev. B Gaming CPU Fan with 6 direct heatpipes
MOTHERBOARD: (3-Way SLI Support) Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 Chipset SLI/CrossFireX Mainboard Triple-Channel DDR3/1600 SATA-III RAID w/ 7.1Audio,GbLAN,IEEE1394a,USB3.0,SATA-III,RAID,3 Gen2 PCIe, 1 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI
MEMORY: 24GB (6x4GB) PC12800 DDR3/1600mhz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair XMS3 w/Heat Spreader)
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 Dual GPU SLI 3GB 16X PCIe Video Card (x 2) + NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB 16X PCI Express (dedicated PhysX card)
PSU: 1350 Watts Power Supply (ThermalTake ToughPower Modular Gaming Power Supply -- SLI / Crossfire ready)
Hard Drive: 256 GB Crucial M4 Series SATA III Gaming MLC Solid State Disk + Vigor iSURF II Hard Disk Drive Cooling System
So...will it run, or explode five minutes after it's powered up? I'm (as you may be able to tell) hoping something of this spec wouldn't need upgrading for 3-4 years.
