    Potential New System

    Hi,

I am currently considering Scan, along with a few other companies to build me a new computer.

I've copied my potential spec below and would like to know if there would be good air flow in this system as I wouldn't want over heating issues.

I'll be using the system for web design / development, heavy multi tasking and gaming (All the MMOs), is there anything worth changing? I'm not interested in OC'ing or adding another GPU at a later stage, I just want a nice beast system

I know the information is probably lurking somewhere, but what is the average wait time for a system?

I look forward to your replies.

Its a shame not to OC that CPU

Since you are not going to OC then there shouldnt be any heating issues. Acutally there wouldn't be any even if you did. Unless your room temp is crazy high.

You can get 4 x 120mm for the side panel if you like, also maybe the Corsair H100 cooler. The latter is just my personal preference

You have chosen one of the best cases for cooling, so I can assure you this will not be an issue even if the CPU was overclocked. The Sandy Bridge CPU's are designed to be OC'd so unlike older CPU's that were not, they don't get as hot.

I don't think the H100 is necessary for a non OC System, Maybe on the X79 OC System's it is, but for this system the Dark Rock is an excellent cooler and also quiet.

The Build ET's are approximately 10 working days from placement of the order

    Best Regards

    Re: Potential New System

I agree that H100 is probably not needed if not OC'ing, but I threw that in just in case someone manged to change Bmoo's mind about OC'ing in the future

Like I said it was personal preference, H100 fit perfectly with the 600T and and maybe quieter at low setting.
