Cactusjack have you got the 680 SC Signature or 680 SC Signature 2 with the 2 fans?

I cannot find any reviews of the SC Signature 2 but it appears to run a bit faster, a bit quieter and a lot cooler than the SC Signature and is £29.26 cheaper. Thats £60 (going for SLI set up) towards a bigger SSD and a quieter rig.

    What do you reckon?

    Re: New Build Advice

    I have one 680 SC Signature 2 card (dual fan) - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-e...ores-1536-2x-d

I bought it due to the dual fans - since it will keep the card nice and cool

Reviews are hard to find. However, it performs very well.

So far, it has been excellent -idles at 29 degrees for me, and under load in Skyrim highest settings it has been 70 degrees - and that is with the fan speed at only 34%!! In other words, it is very very cool.

There is one thing that I did read however - someone said that due to having 2 fans, it will push some hot air out into the case - however, providing the case is ventilated well, should be fine. I am not sure how much of a problem this is? - since I have had not issues so far - and with my Corsair Carbide 500r case, everything has been running incredibly cool overall.

The pricing is interesting - when I ordered, the signature 2 was more expensive than the Signature!

So to me... Signature 2 is a bargain. Also, as you say, it is faster than the Signature.
