Re: My Machine is in memory test :-)

you've got 16GB of memory. it takes a while to test that lot. and when i say test, I mean the 3XS crew are thoroughly enjoying playing with your beasty so much, theyve forgotten to pack it up and ship it to you

hope you've got a (couple of?) nice monitors to go with it, and a monster sound system. dont want to go wasting it on a 17" car boot jobby monitor and £20 speakers

Re: My Machine is in memory test :-)

Your system is now at stage 6 out of 11, if you have purchased an overclocked machine our engineers will now overclock and fine tune the system via the motherboards BIOS, a profile will be saved for both standard and overclocked settings.

Your 3XS system (overclocked or at standard clocks) will then be put onto an intensive 24 hour soak/burn in test, this test is designed specifically to put the machine under 100% load to ensure complete stability over a period of 24 hours.

Once your machine has passed our 24 hour burn in it will move to stage 7 "Quality Control".

Estimated time to despatch 2 working days

    Hi Hoofer,

Glad to hear your system is nearing completion! Mine entered the 24-hour burn-in stage last night so it looks like ours are only a day apart.

I guess you're as excited as I am. I can't wait to fire Crysis 2 up in maximum settings.

Good luck for the PC, and here's hoping they arrive soon, the wait is killing me.

Did you completely choose the components or did you use a 3XS system as a base and configure from there? Very nice build though.

Hoofer, you could send your system to me for some extra testing. I will return it to you in approx 6 months time - does this sound fair

Re: My Machine is in memory test :-)

Is yours being delivered today? It seems to have progressed faster than mine, which hasn't passed the 24-hour burn-in stage yet. Huh. I will probably have to wait until Monday now to see any progress.

I hope it turns up mate -- must be a nightmare knowing such expensive hardware is just out of reach. Keep me updated and I guess I'll be getting mine sometime during the week.

Good to hear it man. Just to keep up to date, my PC has passed several stages today and has now been completed. I'm currently waiting for the team to give me a call and arrange a delivery date. So I expect I'll be gaming in a few days. Looking forward to it.
