OC Bundle + V12 Finance Question.

Hey, I've decided to invest in a big gaming performance increase and Scan seems to be the obvious choice for me after all the kind words and reviews I've read. I opted for an oc bundle and added everything else I needed into the same basket but I have a couple of questions.

I went with the v12 buy now pay 9 months later deal, after ordering on Monday morning I received near instant approval and I signed the papers and had them sent of by Monday afternoon. I'm eagerly waitng for v12 to confirm that they passed my order over to scan but I'm still yet to get an email, how long does this typically take?

Also regarding the bundle itself, from the point of receiving the order whats the estimated time I will be waiting for a bundle? Ideally I would like this a little while before Christmas with everything I ordered appearing in stock, is this likely to happen or could it take longer?

Thanks in advance, this is a huge jump from my current set-up so the wait is really killing me!

Re: OC Bundle + V12 Finance Question.

My finance agreement hit the post Saturday evening, and I received confirmation from V12 finance by 09:28 Monday - an incredible turnaround time!

Scan's invoice update, shifting the order to placed, arrived at 15:55 Monday, and sn update from the picking staff came at 16:26 Monday. For some reason, the payment authorised message was delayed until 11:57 Tuesday.

To be fair, I suspect the timings in my case were unusually fast, but I would have expected to hear something by now, Zaze.

Since then, however, I have also not received any further communications. Understandably I'm rather eager to get some form of ETA - not least so that I can book time off work to play with my new system!

My invoice number is 02008703. Regular updates and some photos (feel free to post them up on the forum) will go a long way to keep me happy. I'm more concerned to know what's going on than to rush you guys - I know the holiday period is going to be horribly busy, and you deserve to get to enjoy it too!

Zaze - I believe the forum staff here may be able to help you further if you post your invoice number for them. Sorry for hijacking your thread, too ><

    Thanks for the reply!

I would have contacted scan but I'm still actually waiting for v12 to pass on my order to scan and confirm it, v12 accepted my payment within 15 minutes and I sent the papers off as soon as I could on monday. Its now thursday evening and I haven't heard so I'm just hoping to get some people share from experience how long it took them.

I'm not annoyed at all though, I'm just really excited about getting my PC and the wait is kinda horrible. The estimated time for the bundle to be built, tested and sent off I would really like to know. I've seen posts about 3xs systems as in full PC's but no real estimate of overclocked bundles.

Re: OC Bundle + V12 Finance Question.

Normally it's next working day from despatching your documents to their being received.

If you don't hear anything from V12 tomorrow, I would recommend ringing V12.

If you do hear something from V12 tomorrow, you'll normally receive a confirmation from ourselves a few hours later at most.

I really look forward to getting my bundle from you guys, can anyone give me an average time I'll wait before its dispatched after you get the order from V12?

Re: OC Bundle + V12 Finance Question.

Just an update if anyone has the same problem or is wondering what happened.

I rang v12 today after not receiving an email again and they told me that my application has been accepted but there was something wrong with the documents I sent down, it didn't include everything. V12 are sending me replacement documents that I will have to send back down and then hopefully I am good to go.

With the situation I'm doubting whether I can receive it before Christmas which is a pretty big deal to me, I plan on phoning scan in the morning to see if V12 has already gave them the go-ahead and also to find out how long I might be waiting for a bundle, before Christmas would be ideal.

Re: OC Bundle + V12 Finance Question.

An ideal way to quickly upgrade your existing system, and a great starting point for a new self build. These bundles are all based around our most popular core products to provide excellent value and quality, with a wide choice processors, both Intel and AMD. With an overclocked Intel® Core™ i3-540 processor from Intel running at a massive 4.20GHz, the latest 4GB DDR3 performance memory from Mushkin, and MSI's superb H55 motherboard, this is one powerful combination. The Core i3 540 bundle is the perfect base for a gaming or media PC, with onboard Intel graphics and also the ability to take even the most powerful of gaming cards there is flexibility that is often hard to come by with components at this price point. Offering exceptional value when compared to more expensive solutions it's easy to see why the Core i3 540 bundle is so popular.
