Scan 3XS Graphite LG10 - AMD Radeon HD 7970M not a option

Guys, after reading Hexu's review of this unit from the 8th of this month i went to see what the cost would be to spec the system with the options i wanted along with the AMD Radeon HD 7970M gpu, sadly no matter the options i pick you can not get the 7970m.

Have you removed this from the spec of the system ?

Thanks for your interest in the LG10 with HD 7970M.

We do offer this, but because it so many good reviews recently we moved it into its own configurator from the NVIDIA-based LG10s. If you view the 3XS site it's just below and to the left of the NVIDIA LG10s. Alternatively you can go to it directly here.

Is the LG10 system as reviewed recently by custom pc no longer available? I know it was in its own configurator but that has now gone from the website and can't see the HD 7970 M as an option for the LG 10 - is this just temporary and will it be coming back as an option?

Unfortunately (well fortunately really) due to the awesome review in Hexus and Custom PC we've sold out of the 7970M version of the LG10, and given that the lead time from Taiwan is so long we decided to remove it from the configurator as we didn't think any customers would be happy waiting weeks for their new laptop.

However, as of this weekend we've added two of the new NVIDIA MX-generation cards to the LG10 configurator, which offers about 20% more performance than the previous M series, so I'd recommend checking them out.

Have you an ETA on the return of the 7970M option yet?

I'm getting ready to order this laptop, and am considering the GTX 675MX GPU instead, but am torn. Is the 675MX comparable in performance to the 7970? I cant stretch to the 680M

you will see the radeon you like is ~25% faster than the nvidia 675mx

I wanted the 7970m unit, so ended up buying the exact same system from Novatech, ( click laptops, high performance, then its the elite 1526. I contacted them and got the the hard drive changed to the hybrid and the dvd player changed to the blu-ray writer as the hybrid drive wasn't shown on there configurator at the time.

Oh and changed the RAM to 2 x 8, from 4x4
