Hi again. I'm wondering if you'll be able to confirm some stuff regarding my order (or call me to sort it out, whichever is easier on the 3XS end of things).
Basically, I'm coming in to Scan next Thursday to pick up parts for another system (the 6th) that I'm building for a friend. Myself and my housemate (who has ordered almost entirely the same laptop is me with the exception that he didn't want windows installed on it) are wondering if it'll be possible to pick up both laptops on Thursday. I'm just a little concerned as neither of us have received any indication of whether or not our builds have been started. I know there were stock issues up to the 30th of May but my understanding is that you do have the necessary parts in stock now?

Well it's after closing time and I didn't get any sort of contact other than here on the forum. This is the second time I've not had a callback (I called last week as well) and it's a little frustrating. I get that things are presumably quite busy in the 3XS department but I'd really like to get some sort of update as to what is going on as it seems as though my order has been forgotten about, even though the money has been debited from my account. Again, I know that there were stock issues at the start of May as I was informed of this but I was also told back then that as soon as the chassis was back in stock that my order would be started and as far as I can tell this hasn't happened?
I've been a buying parts for my own computers (as well as for around 20 other computers I've built for other people) from Scan since 2006 and your customer service has always been among the best and I just can't understand why I can't get something as simple as a phone call in this case? I'm leaving for Europe on the 12th and doing a research placement in Germany over summer, for which I bought this laptop, I was really hoping to have the laptop by then as it's fairly necessary.
Please sort it out Scan.

Hello again, had the laptop for a day and it is absolutely great, thanks a lot to everyone at 3XS
I just have a few questions with regards to the laptop:
firstly, one of the keys (alt gr) is a little bit wonky, I can post a photo if need be. Are the keys on this keyboard safe for me to remove and put back on or would it be better if I brought it in at some point for you to have a look at? It's not a massive inconvenience at the moment with it being a key that I'm not pressing very frequently.
secondly, is there any problem with regards to warranty if I remove the stickers on the laptop already and also put some of my own on the laptop lid? I was thinking of getting some custom vinyl stuff made for the laptop.

Can you bring the laptop back and we will look at getting the keyboard replaced. You have to leave the stickers on just in case for any reason the laptop chassis has to be changed under warranty as we can't return a modified chassis to the manufacturer.

Righto, I won't be able to bring it in for a week or so as I'm out of the country (though the laptop will be staying here) but I'll bring it in as soon as I can. Just to clarify, the key isn't exactly hanging off and I would assume it'll be fine after being re-seated I just don't want to do this myself in the event that it breaks. Thats fine , we will probably swap the keyboard out anyway and sent the Keyboard back to Clevo
