2 weekends down and no sign of system.

Hi I have been in touch a few times already over the phone but never recieved a call back.

I ordered a 3XS system two weeks ago to replace a dead DELL unit and it told me I'd recieve it on Monday the 17th unless I opted for saturday delivery and get it on the 15th. Monday would of been ok at a push as it would still give me around 2 weeks to complete the work I needed to do on the go

By wednesday no delivery had been made and when I called they promised me dispatched to me for the weekend.

Still nothing on friday and I've decided to come into the office today to make sure I dont miss it.

Has my laptop actually been made yet?

The irony of it all is that my DELL laptop that the Scan 3XS was supposed to be replacing has been sent back, fixed and returned in the time ive been waiting

Out of interest which laptop was it that you ordered ? as a trend is starting to appear with a particular model with delays and complete lack of communication from 3xs about it

It's the LG5...

Wouldn't be so bothered if I took the laptop on finance but at the moment I'm like £700 down with nothing to show and the uni work that I bought t for it nearly done

then just cancel your order it hasn't been sent out yet and get your refund £700 can be spent else were

Think ill have a look if anyone can supply me with a similar spec then cancel the order if they can deliver faster.

Is it a shortage problem you are facing? I could reconfigure if it meant actually getting the laptop.

Hi Figo16v, we did run out of LG5's chassis about a month ago but we have plenty in stock now. There might be another item in your order that is out of stock and holding everything up. As soon as we have your order details and I'll get the CS team to look into it for you.

Had a call from Scan so the laptop is now in QC and is expected to ship today for delivery tomorrow.

heres hoping that all is well and tomorrow ill be replying from the new laptop rather than my work station!

Everyone is getting delivery this week but me then even though they have all of the parts for mine they have a backlog to get through

Recieved mine yesterday... Great build quality.

Packaged very well and all checked and benchmarked prior to shipping very pleased with the service overall and afterseeing how much hand written documentation and testing was done I can see why it took a while to ship.

the GT650M plays everything ive thrown at it very well so far. HL2, Crysis, Skyrim..

system got about 2500 on 3dMark 11 too which was part of the SCAN testing procedure to ensure it meets the standard.
