Delivery Options

I was concerned to note on browsing system configs last night that you have removed the option for technician delivery. This was one of your "stand out" points compared to other companies. What has happened?

I have had too many computers now from other companies that purport to be expert "Overclockers" that confront me with overclock failed press F1 when i boot them for the first time. The last example had to be refunded after 2 unsuccesful "repair" attempts. Seems like a tech delivery and setup would lessen that possibility. Can you reassure me before spending out on a potential £3k system please

Hi Mark

The 'delivery and setup' was a nice stand out for us versus our competitors, but we actually found that the high cost (versus courier delivery) was putting a lot of potential purchasers off. In addition, the company that we had subtracted the service too was often unable to deliver the system quickly enough across large parts of the UK.

We therefore removed it as an option from our website yesterday.

In terms of reassuring you that your money would be well spent with Scan I'd highlight the hundreds of awards our systems have won over the years in the press for their performance, build quality, stability and value for money.

For example, our 3XS division as a whole has been voted as 'Best PC Manufacturer' by the readers of Custom PC magazine and Bit-tech.net for the last few years in a row.
