Another Issue New Laptop GPU Temps

I know it is warm today , but my GPU temps under full load during gaming are over 90 degrees. It hit 93 before i closed the game down. The fans dont appear to be that loud whilst gaming either. Do i have another problem here?

Update , somehow managed to get the fans up to max by pressing fn plus the number 1 key. I presume its up to max because you can here them ramp up. Running heaven benchmark temps hit 92 than gpu started throttling back. It throttled as far back as 732mhz and held a steady temp of 90 for around 20 mins until i shut it down. Should it be this high. I think i have a problem here somewhere. What do you advise at this stage?

    Hi barberbookie

What was the room temperature when you were gaming/benchmarking? with the fans on max speed you should be getting around 85-86 degrees with a room temperature of around 18-20 degrees

Are you also using the laptop on a flat surface to allow the hot air to be pushed out of the back?

We can collect the laptop and check the thermal paste for you if you wish

Please drop us a mail through your query if you would like us to do this

    Regards

    Ben

Re: Another Issue New Laptop GPU Temps

Hi Ben . It was warm yesterday ( around 24 ). Laptop on a flat surface. The worry also is that i had to manually ramp the fan up to max myself. It hit 93 and no sign of fan ramping up before i did this. I have only had laptop a week and have done little testing. I will test a bit more over next few days but if temp issue persists i will need you to check the pasting, and if needed, repaste it. I will get back to you soon.
