Alright peeps, a quick question for all you people with the antec nine hundred case. Before I buy it I just wanted to know what the blue LED's were like? i.e are they intensive? More importantly are they annoying? lol
any feedback would be great

The fans inc the massive one on the top are powered by molex's, they do however have little fan speed adjusters but they are on the inside of the case, a friend of mine purchased 4x 120mm blue LED fans with the 3 pin connectivity and wired them up to a zalman fan controller, much better now as you can control the fan speeds from the front , oh and the standard blue LED lights are bright enough to see without distracting you.
I left the the pc and went down to let the dog out...when I opend the door there was millions of moths waiting to get in, they swarmed by me like black rain clouds and made a B line for the case as some shouted "Stay away from the light" as the 200mm fans made short work of them.......to be honest I dont know I have a Thermaltake Tai Chi Liq cooled....but I must say the moths like a drink now and again.

my previous cheaper case had 80mm fans which were much brighter, this one isnt. plus i leave the light off when i play games and i dont notice it much.
Yeh i thin there nice and bright and light up the inside of the case, but i dont think that it is bright enough to get distracted by them, there also really quiet
oops my bad, i posted this thread twice! ah well lol, thanks for the info. Oh yeahh one last question, does the case come with fan filters? or do i need to buy them seperate????
no fan filters
scan ehhh? wanna send me link??????
sure mate

might be a bit on the expensive side, but because its aluminium its more sturdy and easier to clean/wash. plus its think and you can screw it straight on the fan or in antec 900's case just put it infront and click the fan + filter in. its much better because the foam ones are flimsy, i tried alsorts of ways to put it on the front but i couldnt because the fan kept sucking it in
lol, im sure i can break the bank for £3!
how many did u get then? Just the one? andddd while im here i might aswel ask ya what ur temps r like moogle?
i had ordered 3, but cancelled because my mobo broke and i need the monehh to buy a new one, but once all thats sorted im gonna buy 3 again. i bought 3 12cm antec fans (2100rpm), only using one on the cpu , graphics card a bit too long, i decided not to put that one on the hdd cage, and the side window one doesnt fit with the thermalrigtht ultra
but i can say while it was working, i had temps of 27-29C idle, and although i only tried for 1 hour, my load temp was 40C. specs on the my system. everything stock yep. on the stock amd cooler i had temps of 40 idle, didnt try load because i wasnt ocing then so idk. also if your getting the thermalright or any tall heatsink you might want to fit the fan on top. like vertically my fan is on top of the heatsink, so it sucks air thru the heatsink instead of pushing it thru.
Diagram below.

because the side window is screwless the fan hooks into it which is neat, but i couldnt use the thermalright and side fan and the fan being on the bottom made the hook touch the fan when sliding the case back on. but it was easy to fix it as i unscrewed the bolt thingy, and spun the heatsink round , then screwed it back. amazingly the coollaboratory liquid isnt as liquidy as i thought, quite sticky but verry easy to apply with a cotton bud. now enough of my rambling
hope that helped. oh yea fans on high, kinda loud, medium was good enough, low was silent, i actually heard my hard drives for the first time since i changed case. either the fans in my old case were loud or the hard drives decided to open their mouths.
lol, im usin the arctic cooling freezer, i dont think its as big as your thermalright though
wow 40! thats well good, saves the need for watercooling (which i was considering before i eyed up this case)
just out of curiosity..howd u break ur mobo?! lol
it was working on friday, then came saturday morning, i was cable tidying, and i got it working, since my case looked all clean, i decided the room could do with a nice clean, took me all day then when i finished i tried switching on the pc, it switched on fans spinning, but didnt post. the gfx card was spinning fast and it didnt power down. i was tired so i left it till this morning. come morning i try again, unplugging replugging unseating reseating. and then i switched it on, and 30 secs later smoke started coming out of southbridge , when i removed the heatsinks and stuff there was a little black mark on the pads, and the chipset. cleaned them all and added some paste but it still didnt boot. i really dont wanna be stuck without a pc for a month (asus rma procedure ) or more so im ordering one in the meantime.
hahaha so it all spawned from cable tidying..lolll
i couldnt manage without my pc, feel lost without it lol, what mobo you going 4 now?
