So I bought a full system from scan just over a month ago. There were some delivery delays (first time ever in my long term career of purchases from scan) but I wasn't too bothered; unfortunately when the parts eventually came the motherboard was faulty. I sent off some of the components, and it was confirmed the mobo was at fault and I was issued a replacement. Unfortunately upon receiving the replacement, no post beep, no display, just spinning fans; same problem again.
I have been absolutely anal about precautions and following the safest and most secure methods to build this system to avoid the slightest chance of another setback.
My question is, what are the chances of just getting a refund on the mobo now and buying a new one, different make and brand? Rather than receiving a THIRD replacement. (lost faith in this one totally - but I'll refrain from saying which it is because I accept that these freak incidents do happen and it shouldn't taint others views)
Regards,
Chu
