LG L226WTQ - Fautly?

I purchased this monitor a couple of weeks ago, but it seems to have developed a fault.

Look at this pic, taken with no flash on my mobile, there is a horrible halo in the middle of the screen. I am playing a game called Condemned.

Does it only happen when playing the game or is it always there??

I think it seems to be related to the game, as shows up in a screenshot as well. Dunno, any ideas?

looks like your monitor has colour banding issues, try reading up if other LG L226WTQ users are having the same problem.
