Well, the Citylink website is pretty clear
"Please be aware that the serious flooding situation in the Sheffield and Rotherham area has affected our operation out of the Rotherham Depot and as a result there will be no same day collections until further notice."
Their depot's screwed and quite sensibly they're either not sending any more parcels that way atm (and it's sitting a trailer at the main hub) or your parcel reached the depot in time to be washed away.
Ah sorry for my ignorance, not had much access to the internet over these flooding days :X but im still amazed they arrived today even with the problems, ty
Thats good news.
Hopefully the contingency plans put into place by city-link are releaving any strain due to the flooding.
I just hope that this weekends forecast of bad weather doesn't add to the problems they're already facing.
Best Regards,
Is the contingency plan; Giving the drivers wellington Boots and an Umbrella?![]()
Or outsource to a decent courier?
I josh I josh!!
I belive the backup plan is to give all the drivers a paddle and inflatable dingy for all the areas which are effected - also there were rumours that they were trying to contact previous winners from Bullseye to see if they can make use of their speedboats.
* Please note that is a light hearted joke and no offense is intended for anyone in the effected areas
