Is my new PSU dangerous ?

    Hey guys,

I've just installed a new Silverstone DA750w PSU in my machine, bought from Scan last week.

I noitced that whenever I launch a 3d app, or play .avi files it lakes a very loud whining noise.

Now its not like a fan noise but more or an "elecrical vibration" or cracking that sounds like something is shorting or about to fail.

I've logged this with Scan returns but do you think its safe to use in the meantime?

Thanks guys for the excellent service.

I returned my PSU monday, delivered + tested + confirmed faulty on Tuesday - thats good service and deserves praise !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all especially Phillipp who really has helped me out recently.

    p.s

Is there any idea when my replacement will get shipped, I noticed its in stock at the moment. I would love it if I had it by start of next week when my new mobo, cpu and ram arrive - then I can spend a whole day playing with new bits'n'pieces

  5. Received thanks from:
