No unfortunatly it was too late to cancel my other order when scan got their stock. You can always return it if it isn't to your liking.

Ah excellent. I just have to wait until the q6600 G0 chips get listed then I'll be making an order.

Yeh but I honestly dont want to risk throwing money down the drain. I am worried the units might buzz in the first place and I dont want to have to return just because its supplied with the wrong connectors, thats pretty mad, I don't know why someone from Scan cannot just answer the question. It suggests to me that the spec on the webpage is correct and they do not come with the 8pin connectors like yours.

I'm sure people will post as soon as they get their power supply from scan.

I think everyone is eagerly waiting for a Today Only, which I will miss if thats the case. Grrrrr!

I have created a new thread with a simple question to Scan in case this is being missed.

Yup, I did mate thanks. I would just like Scan to confirm it for me before I buy due to the cost of getting one from Corsair.

Aye, just waiting for the cable confirmation and I will order! (if all is well).

    I will pray for a non-buzzy version.

Mike when you say non-buzzy was there a faulty batch reported?, I'm assuming this PSU is usually totally silent so if it isn't it needs to be returned as faulty?

I dont think its a bad batch as such, just a bit russian roulette, some people swear they are fine, some people say they all 'whine/buzz/hum'

I am going to risk it and order one if Chris confirms the cabling. If it buzzes I will just return it under DSR and get a refund I think.

If thats the case I will look at the Nexus 8050 which is supposed to be a good alternative to the Corsair.
