    "Video mode not supported"??

Hi, I'm at a loss what to do, please help. Last weekend I bought Daewoo 19inch monitor and first day I got it, it worked flawlessly but since this afternoon it started showing this message on blackscreen whenever I try to boot up into windows.(just before welcome message I think) I'm sure the monitor resolution and refreshrate are set at supported mode(1440x900@60) and to verify that I can get my image back if I turn the monitor off for a second and turn it on again. Strange thing is if I do this it will work fine for a period of time, but if I shutdown my puter and leave my pc and my monitor off for say 2-3 hours, the error message comes back again when I try to load up windows. I tried recalling monitor's factory setting, restored my old windows from yesterday backup but that didn't fix it. So what is causing this error do you think and how can I solve it? I'm now connecting my monitor up by supplied D-sub cable

Make sure you haven't knocked your graphics card loose from its slot with the plugging and unplugging. Also, if you can, try the monitor on another system so you know if its the monitor or your system thats at fault.

Ok thanks for your suggestion, I'm now connected to my second pc but prolly have to wait for a few hours to reproduce the problem. I'll report back. And yes, my graphic card is securely in place so it's unlikely it get's loose.

Could be faulty, I've never seen a great deal of monitor problems but if its the same on both systems then I'd reckon its needing RMA'd for another one. I use a Daewoo 19" myself and not had any issue's with it, nice monitor for the cash.
