I received yesterday a call from scan saying, we cannot ship your good for free (hexus free delivery) because the value excluding vat is below 20 pounds. Added a few dvds and bam everything is fine!

Now that's what I call service Might be a change they've recently introduced as I've seen posts where they've just cancelled the order before.

We do this now in most cases for free carriage orders, rather than canceling the order.... I think it could have been myself or Paul that called you ...

If everyone who received this kind of service posted this...it would completely dwarf the posts about things going wrong...ive placed a few orders through scan now and their service has been brilliant
can never fault the service from scan, i had one bad delay a month or so ago which annoyed me, but all the times i've used scan and had rma's (with wireless routers at the moment, seems every week!) have been collected and delivered excellently.
we should put a thread up for happy stories and experiences that forumites have had with scan. they can then cut and paste and use on the site to.
