    XFX 8800GTS Fatal1ty

Hey guys, was considering one of these for my new PC but it seems to have vanished from the site (except for the banner ad linking to http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=672898)

    Has it gone EOL already?

Well noticed, but, why would you want such a card?

Paying for fatal1ty's trademark, pointless waste of money, and furthermore, it's XFX!

Don't get me wrong, XFX make some damn fine cards, but if you ever have any trouble with it, good luck! (their tech support and warranty services are a pile of

You could chuck an extra couple of quid on and get a GTX....

    Re: XFX 8800GTS Fatal1ty

TBH it's more because it's the highest clocked 320MB GTS available and thus I wouldn't have to worry about overclocking it myself. Nothing to do with the branding, just that it's been tested and rated to perform at a very high level.

That said, it is XFX which don't appear to have great RMA service....

    Re: XFX 8800GTS Fatal1ty

Judging by the lack of response, I'm guessing this is definately an EOL product. Strange how the ad's are still on Hexus and Scan's website...

    Re: XFX 8800GTS Fatal1ty

It's being looked into. If it is EOL it will be updated tomorrow.

Just waiting for an update from purchasing.
