I believe we may be - one of my colleagues should be able to check up on this for you.

I'm not sure at this stage - but I'm tempted myself.
Due to land in the UK in just under 2 weeks - and with ourselves at that time.
No exact details on model yet sorry.
Certainly powerful enough for my needs...
And with a gig of ram, windows xp (yes I m mad) and an 8bg sd card it comes in at £346 for me whcih is quite a bargin considering its size.
Yup, theres going to be an 8gb hdd and 1gb memory version released before X-mas but no one know the pricing and there also releaseing a version with xp but again pricing is missing.
This way I can have some fun as all the drivers and software are on asus site any way for xp.
I am really interested in this Laptop right now, I'm in need for small laptops to bring to Lectures with and do some small programming + word processing, this fits my needs perfectly!
And of course - it's not quite as bad if someone steals this - as opposed to a super "uber spec" model.
So long as its powerful enough to browse, run a couple of emulators, etc - would be fine as a fourth machine for me
The EEE is interesting - maybe for taking on my travels, etc. Not the end of the world if it gets lost/stolen/damaged. Enough to browse on, remote desktop ... Watch hi-def too I hope.

It'd be really interesting if you can install DVD/CD playing software on it, for around the same price as high end portable DVD players you get a full laptop to boot.
