    Asus Eee PC

Hi guys, quite interested in picking up one of the new Asus Eee PC Laptops (The 4GB variant) and I notice that e-tailers appear to be getting their stocks in tommorrow - Are you planning on stocking it?

    Cheers

Can you confirm this is the non 'surf' one with the 5200 mAh battery and socketed RAM please.

The only other question is which colour to get...

Cool, now to wait till they do a 20Gb one, that'd be ideal for doing diag work on cars etc.

    Re: Asus Eee PC

Looks like a very interesting product. Will be waiting too see how it develops, no doubt future models will offer a little more storage (preferable 8Gb) and a larger screen (10-12inch). Could develop into a very useful little toy....

    Re: Asus Eee PC

10-12 inch would possibly require more battery power, and reduce the advantage of the low power.

I can't see this changing immediately.

    Re: Asus Eee PC

Same as jimbouk, can you confirm the (rough) date of your next delivery & if there will be any left after covering existing preorders?

Yup i'd prefer the small screen, although i'm sure more will come in time wouldnt want to loose the portability of it, more flash mem wouldnt take up too much space or power. Anyone actually got one yet?
