Purchased Coolermaster M700 psu incompatible! Where do I stand with RMA?

I very recently bought one of these from scan and it wont boot a q6600 on a MSI P35 neo2 board. My old akasa 460w will boot it fine. But this psu just fans spin up for a second then stop. I took the board outside of the case but exactly the same. The psu will boot another comp an old athlon and nforce 2 board. I have obtained another psu of the same model from dabs as i thought this was faulty but this one does exactly the same. I have obtained an rma number from scan but where do I stand with this as it is likely to be ok when tested.

Can you not just return it under DSR?

that only applies when requested within the first 7 days

im sure scan will sort something out

a while back i purchased some memory (cheap 2 x 2gb sticks) which only showed up as 1gb sticks in my system, scan happily refunded me upon receipt of them.

I have obtained an RMA before the 7 day period is up but they can't collect until after 3/01/08. Anyway I have now purchased a corsair hx620w psu and this works like a dream so a big thumbs down for coolermaster psu's!
