Question Steering Wheels Sold on Scan (R440 and R660)

    Dear Scan et. al

I noticed Scan are selling the two PC steering wheels that I like...

The Saitek R440 and the Saitek R660. I intend to use the wheel for rfactor mainly. I have read many reviews but I was wondering which one is best suited for that particualr game.

Are they both compatible with the game? Easy to set-up and operate? This is my first ever steering wheel so I am new to this.

Has anyone used these wheels for this particular game?!

    Many thanks

I'd recommend a Logitech Driving Force Pro instead. Unfortunately I don't think Scan sell them, but you can get them for little over a tenner more than what the R660 costs, and are considerably better.

Is the Logitech DFP not just for PS2 and PS3 though?

    Or can you get converters?

Nope, it's not just for the playstation. You don't need a converter, it's a USB device. Just download the software from Logitech.

    Going back to Saitek though....

Does the R660 work with rfactor? I hear a lot of stories that the FFB does not work etc etc. Can anyone tell me? Scan maybe?
