Question Any update on Synology DS-207 (LN18449)?

    Hi Scan,

Been thinking about ordering one of these Synology DS-207s LN18449 but I see they've been out of stock for a while now. Any news or idea when you might be getting some stock or even an ETA with these?

    Cheers

Cool, many thanks. Hopefully you'll still have stock next month after I've been paid.

Just found this thread and was wondering when you're getting new stock in. I know the site says awaiting eta but was hoping for some inside info

Re: Any update on Synology DS-207 (LN18449)?

    Hi Odc,
DS207-128 is a phased out model. We are not producing them anymore.
    I would suggest ordering DS207+.
It comes with 128MB ram and a faster CPU.
    Performance is much better.

Does anyone know if this is true? It would seem logical as I can't find this particular model anywhere else. I'd appreciate a reply from Scan as well to see if you will ever be getting stock in.

Re: Any update on Synology DS-207 (LN18449)?

    Hi Odc,
it won't allow me to post url, just add w w w . to the front of all links.

You can refer to below page for information.
    synology.com/enu/products/compare_spec.php

    DS207 has 64MB RAM w/ CPU 266MHz
    DS207+ has 128MB RAM w/ CPU 500MHz

DS207+ is to replace DS207-128 because of its faster performance.

On Scan's page, the code is: LN19407
    scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=638579

Scroll down to our website's where to buy you can find a list of seller in UK:
    synology.com/enu/buy/europe.php

Synology Forum where you can find tons of information:
    synology.com/enu/forum/

hope info is what you looking for.
