    Faulty Phenom CPU's

I've just been reading about the first batch of Phenom CPU's being faulty. I've ordered a Phenom 9750 which I'm lead to believe is a new batch of CPU's please tell me the fault has been fixed with these chips? Does this come with the B3 stepping which is the revision that fixes the problem.

phew looks like if it ends in 50 (The CPU model) then it's the newer B3 stepping.

    Re: Faulty Phenom CPU's

ANY phenom with the ending xx50 is the new stepping.

This is to help the end user distinguish between the newer cores which have the errors fixed.

    eek - beaten to it...

    Best Regards,
