    radiator info

    Hi Scan,

I've been looking at Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK and
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

and I just wanted to know if these come with M3 screws like my current radiator does. I emailed to ask if they come with any screws and I was told I'd have to use the fan screws that come with fans.

I'm not sure if that was an assumption or you really know they come with no screws as they aren't OEM radiators.

As you can see in the picture above thats how the screws hold the fans on. Standard screws supplied with fans are about < 1cm and have to be screwed on from the holding surface (radiator) to the fan.
That would mean I'd have to screw from the opposite side of the radiator to fit a fan on the other side like in my diagram below.

If you've actually checked that it doesn't come with screws (Which I hope you've done) then can you tell me which one do come with screws? I really wanted one with screws so I can order today and hopefully have it delivered by tomorrow.

    Re: radiator info

Having checked stock I can confirm that the aqua computer DOES NOT come supplied with the required screws, however it requires 30mm M3 screws available from any local hardware store.

The Alphacool DOES come with the screws.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Re: radiator info

came today. had a kind of big dent in it with paint missing
fingers crossed it doesn't leak on me. I found the screws though. I was looking for them thinking oh no I've ordered the wrong one but they seem to be well hidden.
