Hi Scan guys,

Main - Intel Core i5 2300 @ 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Asus P8P67 Pro, Coolermaster iGreen 600w, GTX 480, Antec One Case
I think its a Shuttle SB83G5 motherboard it only supports pentium 4's from memory. Looks a bargain but you have to factor in the case front and psu too
The psu is bundled with the motherboard.

I stand corrected
You've about an hour or so to make your mind up still
I've got it sat in my basket and can't make my mind up. Must say the info provided is awful. No specs for the M/B when clicked info, no details of what HSF is necessary (if any) nor which of the front panels for the Hoojum are compatible. Basically would have placed my order if I could be sure what I was getting and which other items would be compatible (Processor, cooling, memory, GPU, etc). On the basis that it is the SB83G5 motherboard as listed by Gordy, I would need to know if the Graphite black front panel is compatible, will it take a cheap core2duo and does it come with HSF or can you recommend one

Seconded !
I think Gordy's right about the Motherboard - it looks identical on Shuttle's site but the BIOS history makes no mention of any Core processor support.
Scan WebProductId=233136 says "The Cubit5 requires a front panel to support the – SB77G5, SB83G5, SN95G5v2, ST20G5 Shuttle motherboards which can be purchased separately" but doesn't let you actually add it to your basket...
I guess the other colours of Front Plate1 will fit.
Scan Folk : Can you confirm any of this ?
Basically the two different faceplates are for the two different types of port layouts that the shuttles use. You need to make sure its the right one or the ports won't fit.
I would imaging the motherboard will come with the shuttle heatsink and front port bit.
I've had a cubit 5 and 3 and they are great cases. But quite heavy and not the easiest to work with.
Some more info on them here which may help you. http://www.gordyhand.co.uk/cubit.htm
Thanks for the advice. Item is still in basket but without knowing what CPU's are OK and whether the HSF is included (or the IR reciever for that matter), things are still hard to decide. The fact that there seems to be no availablility for the chrome faceplate is also a bit of a worry. The black one seems to be for a different Shuttle system and the others (pink, pale blue and pale green) will look daft with the chrome system
I wouldn't be surprised that there aren't any stock of the right faceplates. As scan only sell one type of motherboard and hoojum no longer create the cubit I believe. So once the stock is sold there is no more. As long as the faceplate is for a cubit 5 any of the colours will fit. It's just whether the front ports will fit. You could always just not install the front ports or try to source a different layout one.
CPU support info can be found on shuttle.com
£29.99 + vat - it's expired now.
