Question: Hiper HMC-2K53A-A3 bundle or not?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask.. but..

I notice you have a new product -> Hiper HMC-2K53A-A3 Media Centre Bundle (incl. Cooler, Riser, DVD Drive, Remote) + FREE HDMI Cable .. (http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=899524&Product=Hiper+HMC-2K53A-A3+Media+Centre+Bundle+(incl.+Cooler%2c+Riser%2c+DVD+Drive%2c+Remote)+%2b+FREE+HDMI+Cable)

Firstly i'm confused by the bundle...

The title says: " Bundle (incl. Cooler, Riser, DVD Drive, Remote) + FREE HDMI Cable"

But in the "product overview" it says:

"To have a High-End Media Center solution based on the HMC-2K53A-A3, it takes 5 additional components only:
HIPER Media Chassis HMC-2K53A-A3 with built-in MSI K9AGM2 (MS-7327) mATX board
    1. + AMD CPU
    2. + AMD CPU-Cooler (e.g. HFC-20820-C1)
    3. + DDR2 Memory
    4. + Slimline Slot-in Optical Drive
    5. + 3.5" Harddrive "

Does it come with the Cooler, Riser, Dvd drive and remote or not?

Another reason to be confuddled.. the title says "+ FREE HDMI Cable" but the "Special Features" section has: " * Free 7.1CH Jack-RCA Cable" .. which is it? HDMI cable or the RCA cable? neither? both?

Also.. Is there any chance you can get hold of the other version of this product (Hiper HMC-2K53A-A0) it is identical but doesn't come bundled with a pretty old motherboard. It feels a shame to buy a nice bundle only to ditch the motherboard for a better one.

Update: Ah bummage, looks like you cannot swap the motherboard because the IO shield is not removable/swappable.

Also I forgot to ask the riser card.. is this for PCI or PCI-E ?

    Thanks

That would be a good thing for scan to do, get the Hiper HMC-2K53A-A0 as mentioned above, and do a whole system with dvd, remote, cooler, riser card, and then a selection of mobo. ram, hdd, cpu, tv card.
then everyone buying one will know they will have the right bits for a good HTPC.

They should do a 3XS system with that tbh.

Re: Question: Hiper HMC-2K53A-A3 bundle or not?

    Guys,

I have checked the stock and can confirm that it does come with the cooler, remote and optical drive (cd writer/dvd reader)

Therefore the only components that are really needed are a suitable processor, hard drive and memory

I shall amend the website to clarify this shortly.
