    Hi Clanger

We accept your appology and though you may not have thought so we have always been on your side trying to resolve this issue :-)

Have you received the second Sli bridge I sent out last week yet?

Overall the issue though frustrating for you was not something we could sort out without our contact at BFG thanks G !

At the end of the day as long as we have a satisfied customer we are happy :-)

Happy gaming and if you need any technical support please let us know

    Regards

    Ben

    Hmmm. Interesting....

But anyway, G did indeed sort it, and even insisted on giving the 10 year warranty after I said he didn't have to.

And at least Scan can be commended for allowing issues to be aired in public.

The SLI bridge hasn't turned up yet, but it's only a couple of days. I'll let you know here if does/doesn't. No rush here. There may even be a way of using a GTX 280 instead of SLI'ing 9800GTXs - with a £10 riser card to lift it up 0.8" out of the way of the capacitor on the board. Have to mod the case though.

Just had an email from Jeff Kozlowski BFG (US), confirming a *lifetime* warranty on the card.

They certainly put that right then.

Received this today. It was postmarked the same day you wrote that, so wouldn't have arrived here by then.

    Anyway, thanks.

Re: BFG card - no serial number!

Great, so I've waisted my time in trying to get my card registered too then. I bought a 3XS system and upgraded the original specs to a BFG9800GTX+ . I sent my 3XS invoice and details off to BFG twice, 9 days later (not the 2-3 days as stated) I get an email back saying "In order for your proof of purchase to be valid, it will need to show the purchase price for the product you are registering." The scan invoice shows only the total price, BFG want to see the price I paid for the card. I have been in contact with Carl H trying to get this sorted out and to get proof of what I paid for the card. Turns out I get punished for buying one of BFG cards as part of my system. No one has told me about not being able to register this card, In fact why send the important notice about registering the card along with the system if it can't be registered anyway! I paid extra to have this BFG card. Well BFG are not having any more of my beer tokens in the future if they don't register my card. Also I'm sure I never read anything about this in the BFG warranty terms.
