    RMA question about refunds and replacements

    I have raised a returns query and have an RMA number etc for some defective ram I got a few days
    ago and just wanted to check something.

    In the reply it states:

    Your item/s has been raised under RMA <xxxxxx> and has been placed for refund. As long as it is returned to us in the same condition as sold it will go through the Returns Process and will take on average 10 working days from being booked in to the refund being completed.

    Now I assume by refund this means I will just be getting the money back and not a replacement, I just want to be sure as I will place an order for more RAM now so I can speed things up.

    Cheers.

    Re: RMA question about refunds and replacements

    i would assume the email makes it clear the items as long as they are returned in the same condition as received you will get a refund.

    Regards

    I've never heard of a case where refund doesnt mean refund

    Thanks for letting me know Paul.

    ==================
    Phazed, my initial expectation when it went wrong would be that I would send it back and get sent a replacement
    so I was surprised when it went straight to a refund. As such I wanted to make sure rather than ending up with two lots.
