A quadcore with 65w max??. Thats amazing, amd were normally more power hungry but they are better than intels quads now iirc.

The Q9550S is over £200 and the nearest processors to the X4 905e are the Q8200S and Q8300S which are more expensive.

True but the point was a quadcore @ 65w not price.

The X4 905e fills in the gap nicely.
