    ETA (Stocking?) on Silverstone GD04?

    Hi Scan,

    Hope you are all well.

I am just wondering if you will be stocking the NEW Silverstone Grandia GD04 case, there are 2 variants apparently but I would be after the Aluminium version. If you were to stock it, Silverstone say this September, do you have an ETA on them?

    Thanks!

Re: ETA (Stocking?) on Silverstone GD04?

I've just checked on the new products database and the new GD04 versions are not listed as yet.

I've emailed the purchasing team to see if we are going to be stocking these models. If we are going to stock them, they should appear on the website once we have a pricing and delivery agreed with silverstone.

    Best Regards,

Thanks again mate, slightly more than I was hoping it would have been.

Now have the dilemma of whether to ditch my Antec Fusion Black for this baby? It does look good and cooling should be very good.

Re: ETA (Stocking?) on Silverstone GD04?

Purchased a GD04 on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday with free delivery, very good.

    Some points:

Cooling is very good with three inward facing and quiet 120mm fans. The fans have filters fitted, secured with four screws. However once the mobo is fitted you can't access the bottom two screws so you have to detach the fans by unscrewing them from the outside of the case. Or as I have done only secure the filters by their top two screws.

The power switch on the front feels tacky and is not very positive when you press it.

The front of the DVD drive tray has to have a metal plate stuck on it by tape (supplied) to match it up against the front of teh case.

Other than that its a good case, fitting the two hard drives and a modular PSU was easy.
Temperatures on the E5300 are 35' in the BIOS, I'm using on board graphics but there looks to be room to fit upto four expansion cards though two looks more reasonable.
