Availability of OCZ Vertex and Vertex Turbo SSD

Does anyone know whats going on with the OCZ Vertex series of Solid State Drives?

I’ve noticed many of the main suppliers have no stock of the Vertex 30GB and Scan has a preorder option on the Vertex Turbo model (LN28540).

On the OCZ website it says the Vertex Turbo is an improvement on the original Vertex model.

Has the original Vertex model been discontinued? Will scan be getting in stock of the plain Vertex 30GB as well as the Vertex Turbo 30GB?

I think I can answer my own question:

According to the contents of this forum thread, the Vertex is being discontinued and the Vertex turbo is going to be renamed to just Vertex (dropping the turbo).

Its going to be a bit confusing until the stock sorts itself out I guess.
