    Help Required

Can anyone please explain why my D/Top background screen as changed from
all blue, to 3 parts plain white and 1 strip of previous colour. ?
With all D/Top Icons on blue strip.

The only hint that I can provide is that at the time of this change,
ZoneAlarm flagged, did I want to allow synchronize to access the internet
for some reason I clicked ok.
    The result as above.

I realise I can resolve this problem if I do a format but do not want to go down that road if possible.
Accessing Display settings etc, in Control Panel does not alter anything
whatever background I choose only applies to a narrow strip the rest remains white.

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Regards.
    Harry.

    Hi,

On Display properties under the Web tab, is the "my current home page" ticked or not?

    Thanks

    Hi', Neo,
    Many thanks for your reply.
    Yes the box is ticked.

    Regards.
    Harry

Ps. I have a feeling that this problem should not have been posted here.
I would be obliged if you could advise, as I find Hexus Forums are poorly
    titled and can create confusion.

Please untick the box. Once you click the apply your desktop should be back to normal.
